The Z7 is aimed at pilots who fly around 30 to 50 hours per year and who are looking for a wing they can count on to accompany them in their first cross-country skiing with a high level of passive safety.

The new Buzz 7 maintains the legendary ease of use and the high level of passive safety which characterize this range, while also benefiting from the latest technical advances from our R&D.

• New plan shape with more boom for better roll stability.
• New orientation of internal profile fabrics for better air flow.
• Position of the line hooks modified to improve stability in accelerated flight.
• New leading edge assembly with additional reinforcements to achieve a cleaner profile.
• New line architecture for load distribution that improves agility.
• New cutting of the trailing edge panels to improve driving sensations.

The combination of all these refinements makes it possible to improve the behavior and performance of the wing. The feel of the controls is more linear and more direct, this is the most noticeable difference and it gives more agility and more steering precision. Maximum speed has also been increased and glide ratio is improved across the entire speed range.

We pay a lot of attention to this category of wings because they are used by many pilots with very variable profiles. The Z7 is the most complete wing we have produced in this “real B” category. It's really fun to ride, capable of taking you into cross country and all this with the highest level of passive safety that can be found in the category.

The Z6's fabrics have proven to combine lightness and longevity, which is why we chose to keep them. The lower lines are now sheathed and in different colors, combined with new risers that are easier to use, they help to simplify preparation for takeoff as much as possible.

The weight of the wing is identical to that of its predecessor, still light enough to have excellent inflation in all conditions. We have paid particular attention to the design of the leading edge with new reinforcements intended to increase the strength of the leading edge across the entire speed range. In particular, these new reinforcements eliminate the flutter effect in accelerated flight and thus improve finesse at high speed.
