Fifteen years of R&D in lightweight equipment has allowed us to develop new designs and specific construction methods for our lightweight wings, the Wisp benefits from the advances that have appeared on our high-performance adventure wings. The optimization of the number of cells and the careful choice of the profile give the Wisp an aerodynamically clean and structurally stable wing. The reduced sail drag, the optimized line plan, and the reduced total line length contribute to the increase in performance without compromising on safety or ease of use.

LIGHTWEIGHT DESIGN AND MATERIALS

Weighing just 4.4kg, the Wisp is a true 38m² tandem that folds and carries just like a solo wing. Hiking is now as enjoyable as flying and it’s easier than ever to share the joy of an alpine paragliding adventure with your loved ones.

For the Wisp, we combined proven fabrics such as Dominico 20D and Porcher Skytex 27g with innovative construction techniques to create an exciting ultra-light wing that offers very high levels of passive safety. The Wisp is currently the lightest certified dual-surface tandem wing.

MOUNTAIN TAKEOFF

Take-off is a critical point in all flights, especially in tandem, and particularly on mountain sites that are not exactly suitable. The Wisp benefits from the extensive experience of our R&D team in professional tandem flights. The ease of take-off of the Wisp reduces the stress level associated with this phase. The risers are simple and easy to operate, a color code makes them even easier to use. In addition, they are equipped with an innovative light trim system that can be adjusted in the air according to the conditions and the load. The Wisp inflates gently and without stopping, even without wind. When the wind is strong, it rises gradually and without overtaking the pilot.

IN FLIGHT

In the air, the low mass of the wing reduces its inertia, making it very stable in pitch. The controls are light, the Wisp can be flown with very little effort. The planform and the distribution of tensions in the sail give the Wisp a compact feel and in the air, it absorbs turbulence and transmits information on the air mass in a coherent, understandable and reassuring way. The handling is responsive and fun – turning is easy and maintaining the bank in thermals requires very little input from the controls.
