The Yeti 6 is the wing to discover. Whether you're a young pilot discovering the joys of flight or a more experienced adventurer setting out to discover a new playground, the Yeti 6 is made for you.
The Yeti 6 is suitable for all piloting levels depending on the chosen wing loading. Suitable for hike & fly, from introductory outings to the first thermal flights. At high wing loading, the Yeti 6 becomes playful and offers dynamic handling.
Compact in the air...
Thanks to its new shape and new arch, the wing is agile in turns while remaining very stable in roll. It is compact and well balanced in the air in all conditions. The lines are a carefully chosen mix of sheathed lines on the lower and intermediate lines and unsheathed lines on the upper lines.
...And on the ground
We've spared no expense in reducing weight and packing volume. Nickel titanium (Nitinol) rods are used instead of plastics, and the trailing and leading edge reinforcements have been removed or replaced with lightweight 5mm mylar hemmed tape whenever possible. The internal structure has been optimized to reduce weight by carefully selecting the number of line attachment points. The result? A smaller, more compact, and lighter bag, so you can move around without constraints.
First-class thermal
Some mountain wings leave something to be desired when it comes to their thermal performance. Not so with the Yeti 6. The planform, aerofoil, arch, sail tension, and swept wingtips work together to promote flat, efficient turning behavior. The Yeti 6 can be used for much more than just descending the mountain!
Newbies are welcome
The Yeti 6's handling has been fine-tuned and tuned to suit everyone, even those new to free flight. The goal was to have a more cushioned feel than its predecessor, while still being playful enough for more experienced mountain pilots. Brake travel is long and progressive, but the feel is direct, and there's no tendency to go into a parachute or stall if the pilot inadvertently pulls the brakes too hard. The Yeti 6 is a joy to fly, and pilots moving into hike-and-fly need look no further for their wing after school.
High wing loading, no problem
The Yeti 6's unique feature is not only that it offers an incredibly wide range of flyable wing loadings, but above all, that it maintains unparalleled stability throughout this range. EN A certification has been achieved even at high wing loadings thanks to the wing's inherent stability in all axes.
Forgiving takeoff behavior
With its profile, the Yeti 6 quickly stabilizes overhead, hangs under load, and even provides a slight forward momentum during takeoffs in light winds. In stronger winds, the wing behaves just as well, without kicking or hanging back. Whatever your skill level and the terrain, the Yeti 6 will ensure you succeed in your takeoff.
Yeti Compress Folding Bag
A specially designed compression sack is available as an option for the Yeti 6. The Yeti Compress folds 5 times, ensuring the most compact volume possible and a perfect fit in your hiking backpack.
X-lite 40l backpack
This 40-liter backpack is perfectly suited to fit your Yeti 6 folded into the Yeti Compress. Equipped with essential mountaineering features such as an ice axe holder, ski holders, pole holders, and flask pockets, the X-lite backpack is designed for mountain adventure.

Designer Gin Seok Song explains the philosophy of the Yeti 6
The Yeti 6 incorporates all the lessons learned from the Yeti 5 and the Bolero 7.
Our priority was to combine the climbing performance, ease of use, and stability of the Bolero 7, while maintaining the low packing volume and weight of the Yeti 5. The result is a wing that is easy to launch and climbs with a flat, efficient turn. At the same time, it offers more performance than its predecessor while being less demanding to fly.
We believe this is a significant step forward that will appeal to a wide range of mountain riders.
